GT2017

#GivingTuesday is a global day of giving. This #GivingTuesday, we are looking for Champions to spread the word about the amazing things Dayton Children's does for kids and families in our community.

In the spirit of teamwork, we are challenging you to work together to raise money for three areas of need at Dayton Children’s – Child Life, the Needy Patient Fund, and Mental Health Services, which has been identified as a top community need.

The team that raises the most money will have an additional $1,000 donated to its total!

Get started now by clicking "Join Team" above, and clicking "Search for a Team." Choose the fund you would like to support, and register to start raising money for Dayton Children's!

#GivingTuesday Champions will be asked to:

  1. Sign up online and join one of the three fundraising teams
  2. Share your personal fundraising page via email, word of mouth and social media between Black Friday and #GivingTuesday
  3. Follow, like and share Dayton Children’s social posts on #GivingTuesday, Nov. 28

2017 will be a historical year for Dayton Children’s Hospital. This year will mark the opening of an eight-story, state-of-the-art patient tower. With improved medical equipment and technology, factors that Flyerthon funds have continued to support, children in the Dayton region will have access to treatment that is close to their homes.
During the 2016 Dance Marathon Leadership Conference, John Lauck, the President and CEO of Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, revealed his findings after visiting Children’s Hospitals across the nation. In his findings, he found that Children’s Hospitals need a 400% increase in funds to provide all of the care they need to take care of ill children. Flyerthon is the University of Dayton’s movement to allow kids to be a kid again.
